GeoTrust's SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates provide secure, authenticated communication in online applications. A web server certificate is a digital document that identifies the holder of the certificate to the person accessing the site and indicates that the site is validated as a secure site for sending and receiving sensitive data.

The digital certificate allows Milan to verify our identity to our customers in an online transaction. When used in combination with encryption, as ours is, it also allow us to encrypt information that you send to provide additional assurance that only the intended party can access the data and that the data will not be compromised en route.
