The name Borkum Riff was once only associated with the lightship 'Borkum Riff' that had a lighthouse onboard and sailed the North Sea off the Dutch coast showing other ships the way. Borkum Riff's Bourbon Whiskey recipe is a loose cut mixture of 35% Black Cavendish from Africa, Europe and the Philippines blended with 65% Virginias from Brazil and Africa.
