Shipping Policy



Orders are shipped via UPS or United States Postal Service (USPS), and the rates are automatically calculated based on the weight of your order and the chosen method of shipping at checkout.

Please note that due to heightened restrictions imposed by UPS, Milan Tobacconists will ship orders containing tobacco products by USPS regardless of the shipping options displayed at checkout. UPS may be selected if your order contains ONLY non-tobacco products.

Regulations in CA, HI, ME, SD, UT, WA, and WI prohibit retailers from shipping pipe tobacco and cigars to these states. We are permitted to ship non-tobacco products, however.

Milan Tobacconists only ships to customers 21 years or older. By shopping with us, you are confirming that you are of legal age to purchase tobacco products. Our policy with first-time customers is to ship the initial order to the credit card holder’s billing address as verified by the credit card company.

Order Processing

Total delivery time includes order processing time plus shipping time. In-stock orders placed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time will be shipped the same day. In-stock orders placed after 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time will be shipped on the next business day.

Delivery Estimates

All delivery estimates below are measured in business days, excluding weekends and holidays, and begin when your order is shipped—not when it is placed.

These estimates apply to continental U.S. destinations. Deliveries to non-continental U.S. destinations, including Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO addresses, may take longer. Shipping eligibility remains subject to the product and destination restrictions stated in this policy.

Estimated Delivery Times After Shipment

Free Shipping:

  • 7–10 business days for eligible orders shipped within the continental United States.

Via UPS:

  • Ground: 2–10 business days, depending on destination.
  • 3 Day Select: typically 3 business days.
  • 2nd Day Air: typically 2 business days.
  • Next Day Air and Next Day Air Saver: typically 1 business day.

Via USPS:

  • Ground Advantage: 2–6 business days, depending on destination.
  • Priority Mail: typically 2–3 business days.
  • Priority Mail Express: typically 1 business day.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless the carrier expressly guarantees the selected service.

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number or delivery confirmation number.

APO/FPO Addresses and Shipping Coverage

Milan Tobacconists ships orders to customers with APO/FPO addresses via the United States Postal Service (USPS). We do not otherwise ship outside the United States and its territories.
