Montecristo Espada Oscuro

Five years after Montecristo's famed Grupo de Maestros blended the original and remarkably successful Espada, Montecristo introduces the Espada Oscuro, a premium cigar produced entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco grown at the Plasencia family's farms. The Espada Oscuro is also blended by the Grupo de Maestros in partnership with the Plasencia family and Altadis USA's Rafael Nodal, but the original Espada's Jalapa Habano wrapper is replaced with a special Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper that was discovered at the Plasencia factory in Estelí where the Espada Oscuro is also produced. This Nicaraguan puro is medium- to full-bodied with added dimension from the darker, stronger Oscuro leaf and is a complex, rich, and flavorful cigar worthy of the Montecristo Espada name.

The Espada ["sword" in Spanish] Oscuro is available in three formats with names drawn from sword and knife terminology ~ Guard, Quillion, and Ricasso.
