Perla del Mar Corojo, Maduro & Shade

Perla del Mar Shade, Maduro, and Corojo cigars are hand rolled at J.C. Newman Cigar Company's PENSA factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, with aged binder and long filler tobaccos from four different Nicaraguan regions and then "Tampa-style pressed" in more of a rectangular shape versus the company's original square-pressed Perla de Mar cigars that launched in 2012. The 2020 Perla del Mar brand update introduced a somewhat stronger blend due to the use of more aged tobaccos and added viso leaf, entirely new packaging, and the addition of its Corojo line. While considered by many Perla fans to be better than the original versions, you will be happy to note that these premium cigars remain wallet-friendly.

Perla del Mar Corojo cigars are the newest addition to the brand. Finished in a robust Ecuadorian Corojo-seed wrapper, the Perla Corojo is blended with hand-selected, aged Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos from four different regions ~ Pueblo Nuevo, La Reina, Condega, and Jalapa ~ the same blend used in the Perla Shade and Maduro lines. Tampa-style pressed to enhance the balanced natural tobacco flavors, these medium-bodied sticks offer a pleasantly spicy and peppery profile.

Perla del Mar Maduro cigars are blended with the same hand-selected, aged Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos as the Shade and Corojo brand extensions, but are covered in a rich Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. You'll enjoy a medium-bodied, smooth, and creamy smoke with these Tampa-style pressed cigars and tasty notes of cedar, mild spice, coffee, and dark chocolate.

Previously known as the original Perla, Perla del Mar Shade cigars feature a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper covering a diverse blend of aged Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos from four different regions. The Tampa-style press allows the deep and balanced flavors of Perla Shade to fully emerge, resulting in a smooth, creamy, and satisfying smoking experience with notes of caramel, woodiness, and spice.
