Plasencia Alma del Fuego

Plasencia Alma del Fuego [meaning soul of fire] ultra-premium cigars are produced by the father and son team of Nestor Plasencia Sr. and Jr. ~ 4th and 5th generation tobacco growers and cigar makers. As with all of the cigars in the "Alma" series, these Nicaraguan puros are meticulously handmade at the Plasencia Cigars S.A. factory in Nicaragua with 10-year-aged tobaccos set aside specifically for their creation from farms in Estelí, Condega, Jalapa, and Ometepe.

While much of the aged tobaccos used in the Alma del Fuego blend is grown in the volcanic soil of Ometepe and known for its strong character, the sungrown wrapper from the Jalapa region tempers that strength with its sweetness. These cigars are soft box-pressed, rolled with a closed foot, and deliver a meaty, medium-/full-bodied smoke with exceptional balance, complexity, and flavorful notes of spice, citrus, roasted cashews, and guava wood.
