Cigar Oasis recommends replacing the Cigar Oasis Water Cartridge approximately once a year as it becomes less absorbent with each refill. This Cigar Oasis Plus Replacement Water Cartridge is designed for use with the Cigar Oasis Plus and XL-Plus Electronic Humidifier models. According to Cigar Oasis, the original cartridge can be refilled between 7 and 10 times before a replacement is required, which is approximately every 12 months. The replacement water cartridge contains a foam element with an anti-fungal agent - just add distilled water to activate.
