Handmade at cigar maker Jose Blanco's Tabacalera Palma facility in the Dominican Republic and distributed under his Indian Head Cigars company, Rough Rider Sweets Maduro are blended with the same Dominican Piloto Cubano and Criollo '98 long fillers used in the original Rough Rider Sweets, but the Mexican San Andrés binder and maduro wrapper leaves take these cigars in an entirely different direction. The medium-bodied Maduros are smooth, creamy, and subtly sweet from the cap with ample flavors of natural premium tobacco and notes of dark chocolate, baking spice, and earthiness.
