Rocky Patel began working on The Edge in 2002 to offer premium long filler cigars without the packaging glitz in order to keep the prices reasonable. The Edge became reality in 2004 and we had to purchase rustic 100-count chests and sell them in bundles and singles back then — we still do for the most part, but now offer The Edge in boxes too. The Edge is as popular today as it was upon its release and the brand has expanded to include all manner of varieties and sizes to meet the demand of an equally wide variety of cigar smokers.
The bold taste of The Edge Connecticut (formerly The Edge Lite) is tempered by an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper making for a mildly spicy and creamy medium-bodied smoke.
The Edge Corojo is an earthy, medium/full-bodied cigar wrapped in spicy Cuban-seed Corojo leaf with notes of wood, nuts, black pepper, baking spices, and hints of molasses.
The Edge Habano is a Nicaraguan puro. The dark and oily Habano-seed wrapper combines with filler and binder tobaccos from Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa to give the Habano a full-bodied, rich profile with notes of spice, pepper, and hickory with a long finish.
The rich, medium/full-bodied The Edge Maduro is a flavor bomb covered in a Costa Rican Maduro wrapper and offers notes of leather, wood, red pepper, dark chocolate, espresso, and creamy sweetness.
The beautiful, dark Sumatra wrapper of The Edge Sumatra envelops a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and Peru. The end result is a medium/full-bodied, sweet tasting cigar with notes of wood, leather, and coffee.
